Common Bathroom Remodeling Moves
There are many things you can do to help your bathroom look great and feel luxurious. Here are a few of the most common types of projects that we have seen people taking on recently. We would love to help you do any of these and more.
- Installing a rain showerhead. Showerheads that produce a rain-like shower experience were first common in spas and retreats, but now people are installing them at home, too. These shower heads are most commonly installed from the ceiling instead of the wall, so they involve moving some pipes around to get the water to the right place. We’ll get yours put in just the way you want it so you can relax in your shower.
- Expanded showers. Many people are putting in large showers instead of the traditional shower/bathtub combination in a 5-piece bathroom. These often involve taking the bathtub out entirely and expanding the small shower to take up that entire space. These showers can have dual shower heads, benches for sitting and enjoying the steam, trendy tilework, and more.
- Luxury or signature sinks. Instead of everyday porcelain, many people are now installing sinks made out of everything from buckets to blown glass. Some are even making their own (though we don’t recommend this unless you have experience). These sinks help add to the look and feel of the bathroom and they add some personal flavor, too. If you want to give your bathroom a definitive look without breaking the bank, this is one route to doing just that.
- Jetted bathtubs. These have gotten a bad rap for many years, but the newest versions are basically like having a hot tub in your bathroom. They are expensive and can require some plumbing updates, as well as more space than a traditional bathtub. However, they are cheaper than getting a hot tub for a similar experience.
No matter what you want to do, we will help you build the bathroom of your dreams. We’ll handle any permitting and inspections or approvals that your plumbing needs, too, so you won’t have to worry about any of it. We can even work with other contractors to make sure your bathroom plumbing is done on time and your remodel can remain on schedule.
